Another great race for Jenny. Congrats to Jenny and Juli!

Thinking ahead to next year's Olympic Trials, I'm trying to place a value on Jordan Hasay's seasons, indoor and out, this year. Traditionally she has always been a single event runner through HS. This year she jumped in with both feet and ran the 5K and 1500. Her success in the indoor, National Champion in the Mile & 3K, and runner-up in the DMR, led her into the outdoor season at full speed. She peaked at 4:10 and 15:37 in the 1500 and 5K respectively. Now by the end of June, she's ready to shut down and get some rest. What did she gain from this tough year? That remains to be seen. But next year is an Olympic year, she'll be 20 years old in September, the Trials are at Oregon, the Olympics are in England, her mother's home country, and I wouldn't bet against her beginning in XC this fall for all the tea in China!
