BOULDER - The University of Colorado women's cross country team moved up to ninth-place in this week's USTFCCCA Division I Coaches Poll, while the men held strong at No. 4.

The Buffaloes are fresh off an impressive showing at the Rocky Mountain Shootout on October 2 with both teams winning the Division I team titles. Sophomores Laura Tremblay and Joe Bosshard each won their respective individual titles as well.

The women earned a 1-2-3-4 finish in the race and were led by Tremblay. Tremblay had to outkick fellow Buff Emma Coburn in the final stretch and did so by one second. Tremblay's time was 20:29 while Coburn finished in 20:30. The women had been ranked 13th in last week's poll and jumped four positions this week with 246 points. CU is the second highest rated team in the Big 12 this season behind No. 4 Texas Tech. Villanova has been the top team all season, picking up all 12 first-place votes in every poll.
