Park to Park 10 Miler Recap 2010

Records are meant to be broken and with this morning's break in the summer heat, it was inevitable at the Park to Park 10 Miler. The Park to Park 10 Miler is proving to be one of the most competitive races in the state of Colorado. With a total of $2,500 being awarded to the top three overall male/female and male/female master's runners, it's easy to see why.
Marico Macias, the former All American runner from Adam's State, took the pace out hard and cruised to victory, setting a new course record in 49:32. Besting the old record set by Josh Eberly in 2008, by almost two minutes.

Josh Eberly and Japheth Ng-Ojoy battled for ten miles and it came down to a sprint to the finish (make sure you watch the third video). Josh, the 2008 and 2009 Park to Park champion had to settle for second this year.
