Denver, CO – The inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Marathon & ½ Marathon is thrilled to announce that Semisonic will reunite after a two-year hiatus and headline the post-race concert on Sunday, October 17th.
Formerly known as the Denver Marathon, the revamped road race has been rebranded as part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series in 2010 and will conclude event weekend with a finish line concert at the Greek Amphitheater in Civic Center Park.

“We are thrilled to be able to have more than 30 great Denver bands rock race day for more than 15,000 runners and thousands of fans and spectators,” said Shannon Davis, Event Manager for the October marathon. “To cap off race day by hosting one of only two rare appearances of Semisonic will be a special experience for all event participants.”
